Does Maui Nix offer gift cards?
Gift cards are available in denominations of $25, $50, $75, and $100 and can be purchased on the Maui Nix Gift Card page or at any of our store locations. They make great gifts all year long!
How do I redeem my Maui Nix Gift Card?
Using your Maui Nix Gift Card is easy. At this time we are unable to accept gift cards as a form of payment via the website. But if you would like to place an order with your gift card please email email@example.com or call our Original location between the hours of 10am - 9pm EST at 386-253-1234. If you are placing a phone order, just give your gift card number to our friendly customer service representative. You may also redeem your gift card at any of our store locations.
If the balance due on your order exceeds the Maui Nix Gift Card balance, you may use another accepted payment method to complete your purchase. Any unused portion of your Maui Nix Gift Card will remain for future use.
Can I transfer my gift card balance to another Maui Nix account, or cash it out?
Unused Maui Nix Gift Card balances may not be transferred to another account. Maui Nix Gift Cards are not eligible for a cash refund unless required by applicable state law.
Does Maui Nix ship outside the U.S.?
We value our International Customers and will work hard to keep them. At this time we are not processing international orders or shipping internationally. Please contact customer service at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any further questions regarding this policy.
How do I check my order status?
Go to order history in your My Account. Click on an order number to view the entire order. If the order has shipped, click on the tracking number to track the status of your package. If you have not created an account, you may do so on our website.
Can I add or remove items from my order once it is submitted?
You may contact our customer service team at email@example.com However, because we work so quickly to ship you your order, it is usually not possible for us to alter your order once it enters our system.
Can I cancel my order?
Once you have submitted your order, during the processing time frame, we may be able to cancel your order. You may contact our customer service team at firstname.lastname@example.org. However, once an order has been shipped we are no longer able to cancel it. You can check the status of your order by going to Order History under My Account.

Returns and Exchanges
What is your return policy?
Maui Nix is committed to customer satisfaction. If you receive merchandise that you are unhappy with for any reason, simply return it to Maui Nix within 10 days - in the condition you received it for a full refund.
We accept returns only on merchandise in which the items are unworn with tags attached. Please keep tags attached,original packaging & your receipt because you will need these in order to do any return/exchange. Worn or damaged returns will not be accepted.
All returns must be shipped within 10 days (post dated) from the ship date and are eligible for a full refund (less shipping charges, unless it was our error) and/or exchange. Returns received within 10-30 days (post dated) are only eligible for an exchange or store credit. No returns will be accepted after 30 days (post-dated) from the purchase date unless authorization was given by a customer service representative. **Note** No returns or exchanges accepted after 30 days. ALL ladies swimsuits, sale items, sunglasses & watches are final sale.
Exceptions to our return policy:
- Gift Cards may not be returned
- Surfboard sales are final and cannot be returned unless damaged upon receipt.
- Underwear must not be worn and have original tags intact.
- Footwear must be in new condition (no wear on the inside or outside) unless defective.
- All Sector Nine sales are final and cannot be returned unless damaged upon receipt.
- All sunglasses & watches are not returnable/exchangeable
- Special Sale/Clearance are final sale
How do I return an item?
It's simple! Just box up the merchandise you wish to return (unworn, unwashed with tags attached), a copy of your receipt, a letter with your request detailing all information, and a daytime phone number where you can be reached. We ask that all online and out of state returns and exchanges be shipped to our corporate office. In-store purchases can be returned at any of our store locations.

All returns and exchanges are done at a managers discretion. The product must be in new condition: unworn, unwashed, with tags attached and a copy of your receipt included.
Once we receive the item(s) you would like to return/exchange we will contact you by email or phone for additional information. For exchanges return shipping cost will vary depending on weight and destination.
Exchanges and returns must take place within 10 days of leaving our warehouse. This means your return package must be postmarked within 10 days of the date that the original package was shipped. Any special conditions made for the purchasing customer must be noted on the customer's receipt by a customer service agent. Also, please note shipping is non-refundable if an error was not made on your shipment. Allow 2-4 weeks for processing and return delivery. If at any time you have questions or problems with an order or product, please contact the Maui Nix Customer Service department by e-mail at email@example.com. We will email you when returns and/or exchanges are made. If requested, we will be happy to mail you a copy of your return credit card receipt. Please allow up to 2 billing cycles from this date for credits to appear on your credit card account.
If you receive incorrect or damaged product:
If you received damaged or incorrect merchandise please email us within a week of receipt . A customer service representative will either telephone or e-mail you back in order to determine if we made a mistake or if the damaged product can be exchanged. Generally we are very happy to exchange damaged product as long as it was damaged in transit. We will credit your card for the return postage when the package arrives back in our warehouse.
We will email you when returns and/or exchanges are made. If requested we will be happy to mail you a copy of your return credit card receipt. Please allow up to 2 billing cycles from this date for credits to appear on your credit card account.
How long does it take to receive my credit or refund?
Please allow approximately two to three weeks for the shipping and processing of your return. Depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional two billing cycles after your credit is applied for it to post to your account.
How do I make a return if I live out-of-state?
We are aware that a lot of our customers are visiting our stores from out-of-state. Returns/Exchanges are available through mail. Please contact a customer service representative by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. Our return policy does apply. You will need to contact a customer service representative before 10 days of the original receipt.
What is store credit?
When returning items, you have the option to receive a refund to the order’s original payment method, or store credit which can be used conveniently for future orders at Maui Nix. To request store credit, you must ask directly from the customer service representative assisting with your return.
What are the benefits to choosing store credit?
Store credit never expires and is stored conveniently on a gift card until it’s fully redeemed.
Can store credit be combined with coupons or discounts?
Yes! Any eligible coupon or discount can be used with store credit or any other payment method you select.
When will my store credit become available?
Please allow approximately two to three weeks for the shipping and processing of your return. Once your return is processed, an email will be sent to you confirming your return. Your store credit is available at that time.
How do I use store credit?
The easiest way to use store credit is by applying it in checkout via a gift card.
What if I don’t have enough store credit to cover my order total?
If you don’t have enough store credit on your gift card to cover your order total, the Credit Card page will appear during checkout where you can select or add a credit card. At this time please call 386-253-1234 or email email@example.com if trying to check out using store credit via a gift card.
Shipping and Handling
We are currently not processing or shipping orders Internationally at this time.
What are your shipping fees?
Maui Nix proudly offers free standard shipping on orders over $50 within the continental U.S.!
Certain orders are not eligible for free shipping. Exclusions include:
- Surfboard and surfboard bags
- Large blankets and signs
- Alaska, Hawaii, and off shore U.S. territories such as Puerto Rico
What is your express shipping process?
- Maui Nix offers express shipping options (Two Day and Overnight).
- Express shipping is available only for items that are in stock.
- A residential street address is required for all express shipping orders.
- Express shipping is not available for orders shipping to post office boxes, APO/FPO addresses, Alaska, Hawaii, off shore U.S. territories such as Puerto Rico and international orders.
- Express shipping orders placed before 9:00 AM ET on a business day typically ship the same day pending credit card approval.
- Express shipments occur Monday through Friday. If Saturday delivery is required, contact Maui Nix customer service at firstname.lastname@example.org, Monday through Friday to determine charges and whether Saturday delivery is available in your area.
At mauinix.com, we always try to save you money by having sales and specials. In many cases, we have a limited inventory of items that we put on sale. Therefore, please be aware that there is a slight chance that the sale item that you purchase may be out of stock and sold out by the time your order is processed and shipped. While this does not happen often because we try to keep our inventory accurate, it is possible. In the case of an item selling out and becoming unavailable to ship, we will notify you by e-mail as soon as possible so that you can elect to receive a refund or another item in its place.
